  • What does a Podiatrist do?
Podiatrists are specialists in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of lower limb and foot conditions.
  • Do I need a referral to see a Podiatrist?
No. Anyone can come and see a Podiatrist. If you have private health insurance which covers 'Podiatry' services, a rebate will apply. However, if you are having your costs covered by Workcover, the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) or through the Enhanced Primary Care (Medicare) Program you will need to be referred to our clinic by your general practitioner.
  • Is Podiatry bulk billed?
If you have an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan from your GP, your podiatry consultation will be bulk billed. You are entitled to 5 visits covered on an EPC by Medicare for allied health services per calendar year. Your GP will determine whether you are eligible for this program. If you do not have an EPC, your consultation will not be bulk billed by Medicare.
  • Do you have HICAPS?
Yes. We have a HICAPS terminal on site which allows you to claim your consultation on private health after your appointment. If you forget your private health card, we can email you a copy of your invoice and you can claim directly with your private health fund.
  • Is there Parking and disabled access?
Yes there is both. We have parking directly out the front of the clinic. There are no stairs into the clinic, therefore allowing for disabled access. We also have bathroom facilities on site that allow for disabled access.
